To what remedy is a successful contestant entitled?

The Florida election contest statute authorizes the judge to “fashion such orders as he or she deems necessary . . . to prevent or correct any alleged wrong, and to provide any relief appropriate under such circumstances.” Relief could include rejection of questioned ballots or a direction to recount disputed ballots applying a particular standard.
