Under 3DM, port 3 was seen as a RAID DISK but I want to use drive 3 as a JBOD instead. How can I convert a RAID disk into JBOD because 3DM does not seem to be able to do it?
Use the 3ware BIOS to convert a RAID disk into a hot spare, and then press F8 to save it and reboot. Enter the 3ware BIOS again, and select the drive and press the ‘s’ key to deselect the drive as a hot spare and save the change with F8. Once you boot into the OS, the drive will be seen as a JBOD drive.
