understand that CSI teams use advanced technology in many of their investigations. What technology skills and equipment will I need to successfully participate in the Academy?
If you have successfully completed your high school technology requirements and science courses to date, you will have most of the skills that you need to begin your training. Your Academy instructors and other technology personnel will teach you any other skills that may be required. Participants will receive hand-held devices to communicate and gather information in the field during the summer and fall sessions. There will also be laptops available for group work in the summer and fall. Students will use B-Ws course management system, Blackboard, for the entire Academy experience.
