This is a known problem without a workaround. Chime 2.0b2 is buggy on IRIX, and simply should not be used in its current state. Since the IRIX port has been officially discontinued by MDL, this will not change in the foreseeable future. Chime works very well on PCs. The database was designed to be usable without any plug-in, so you still will be able to access the structure data without Chime. Just do not visit any of the clearly marked Chime visualization pages.
