Was John the Baptist ever baptized?
We are not told in Scriptures whether John was baptized, yet John had said at Christ’s Baptism: “I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me (to be baptized)? Matthew 3:14. But Jesus said: “Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.” v. 15. It is possible that John submitted to baptism by one of the twelve Apostles, with whom he had contact from time to time.
