Was Rolling Stones founding member, Brian Jones, murdered?
Brian Jones was one of the founders of the famous rock group, and the group’s leader for a time. As the group started playing more rock & roll, Jones was very vocal about the group staying with their original jazz and R&B influenced songs. Also, Jones’ performances were often hindered by drugs and alcohol abuse. The other members asked him to leave the group in 1969. Shortly after, Jones was found drowned at the bottom of his swimming pool. His girlfriend at the time, Anna Wohlin, was in the house at the time, but came out when she heard voices. A builder who was working on the house, Frank Thorogood, and his assistant, pulled Jones from the pool. Wohlin claims that Thorogood seemed very unconcerned about the death, and has speculated that he murdered the musician.
