What accomplishments should a reader complete during class?
A. The entire reading comprehension process allows students to use the following reading skills: main idea, context clues, authors purpose, fact or opinion, inferred meaning, higher order thinking skills, etc. Students are to read passages three times and track in class; they sign up for a readback over passage, and they have a conference with the readback teacher. B. The writing assignments incorporate various ways in which the students can reflect upon the story passage(s) he or she has chosen to read; the students opportunity to enrich his or her writing skills are accomplished through writing assignments. C. The vocabulary component increases the students word based knowledge. D. Pic Wizards allow the students to understand the relationships of various words, such as synonyms, antonyms, context clues, multiple word meaning, etc. E. All tests- story passage, vocabulary, and pic wizard- are administered in class.
