What all is involved behind using a web GUI to input data in to Incident Reporter?
The online reporting form is a web GUI (Graphical User Interface), and you can capture all generic incidents, not just aviation types; ie vehicular, chainsaws, allergic reactions, etc. for both aviation and fireline occurrences. Your field staff wouldn’t see IR, only the web-based online reporting form for data input. You can set up the types of events you want to see reported in Value Lists. Remember, IR can be used not only to capture user-defined events, but for any quality management purpose you desire, be setting up Value Lists appropriately.
