What animals are found in amazon rainforest and how they have adapted?
There are many, many species of animals in the Amazon rainforest. If you include insects, you’re talking in the MILLIONS and that would be far too many to list here! I have heard that the Amazon alone holds about 1/2 of the entire WORLDS (land) wildlife! Different species have adapted differently. Some are excellent climbers so that they can find food at the tops of trees, and escape predators on land. Some have developed camoflauge to sneak up on their prey, or to avoid predators. Others have become very tolerant of humidity and moisture. It really depends on the animal. EDIT: Some species of animals found in the Amazon have also developed poison, and use bright colors to warn other animals not to eat them.
