What are Atpic variables?
Atpic variables are defined by Atpic developpers. There is already a long list of predefined Atpic variables. Their name begin with atpicvar. Atpic variables are called in templates writing their names between brackets [ ]. Example: [atpicvar_gallery_title]. The value of an Atpic variable is a piece or block of HTML code. Using those variables, you can control how HTML code will be output. You simply create your page using predefined blocks. We think this is a very powerfull way of writing HTML. Atpic does the dirty and tedious work of defining and giving a value to variables specially defined for picture presentation and Atpic members use them. If you have ever tried to write a program to manage pictures, you probably understand what we mean by dirty and tedious. To us this is a really interesting alternative to writing your own HTML code, without having to loose the ability to control exactly how you want your page to appear.
