Circuit filters or limits are a pre-defined price bands in which a particular stock can go up or down on a given day. Currently in NSE all the scrip s which participate in the NIFTY(Sensitive Index) can move +/- 10% in a day whereas all the other scrips can move +/- 20% in a day.
