Microsoft Word is a word processing program with many features. One of those features allows multiple users to edit the same document and view each other’s edits without altering the original document until the changes are approved. Along with these edits, it’s possible for different users to insert “comments” that can be used to communicate ideas, corrections and advice about the edits. Comments can appear in balloon boxes within the document, making them easy to spot, and are color coded by user.
