What are common POP3 collection problems?
Although the POP3 method of email collection from an ISP’s Mail Server is generally simple, there are a few common problems that can occur. Messages are stored at the ISP’s Mail Server in a single account for your entire Domain. Occasionally the address for the final recipient of the message may be lost. This happens especially when the recipient was addressed as a “BCC” or Blind Carbon (or Courtesy) Copy, since the address for this type of recipient is not listed as part of the header. As this strategy of addressing is becoming more common with the increase of electronic mailing lists, the number of “undelivered messages” is also on the rise.
