What are “Echo” and “Reverb” on the Master Track for?
A. Each track has a kind of “bus” to the virtual “effect rack” which the programmers placed access to in the master track. The effect rack let’s you tweak the type of echo and reverb available to each track. You could create a deep or shallow reverb (along with thousands of other combinations) and offer those to every track. On each track you can control the “return”. NOTE: These two effect settings do not place effects on the master track. If you turn those off in the master track, there will be no echo or reverb available to the individual tracks.
