I can’t remember the book itself but if you need the definitions of those words I can give you those then you can go back through the book and find the examples. So for understatement, it’s pretty self explanatotry, you’re looking for something that was said that was not held in context. ie: he was a jerk (but he was actually a really mean person) Personification, you’re looking for an example of giving an inanimate object a human quality ie: the sun smiled at me A hyperbole is a gross exaggeration ie: I’ve seen that a million times and allusion is a referral to something or someone else I believe.
