we had red rumps in our aviary (i ended up with two hand reared males when the mum and dad died) they are great but will get grumpy with the finches and canaries if they get too close, we had zebra finches, canaries and little doves, when we had a pair they did attack the other birds if they went near their nest box, if it is a large aviary then they will tolerate other birds and territory issues should not be a problem, a if you are just getting the female she should be fine, we kept our birds outside all year round but did put up plastic sides in the colder months and had a heated flight area for the colder times, they were quite happy out there, they do make a nice addition to most aviaries and are different from other birds, she will eat the grass seed and may eat the grass as they are a grass parakeet from Australia and feed off of it but if there is plenty she should not spoil it too much, best of luck honey.
