What are inset doors?
Inset doors separate a true craftsman from the rest. An inset door refers to how a door hangs on a faceframe cabinet. It is usually mounted on butte hinges and is fitted inside the cabinet opening flush with the frame. The small space that surrounds the door must be even on all sides to look right. Most shops will shy away from this style because it is difficult to do, time consuming, and requires a lot of skill. We specialize in it!
