What are Longaberger® Baskets?
A. Longaberger baskets are handmade, decorative, functional, and collectible baskets made in Dresden, Ohio. Each basket is woven with maple tree splints and signed on the bottom by the weaver along with the year the basket was woven. The regular line baskets come in four versions: Classic, Natural, Heartland, and Woven Traditions. Classic are stained with no colored splints. Natural baskets are not stained. Heartland baskets have a blue shoestring accent weave. Woven Traditions baskets have shoestring accent weave in red, blue, and green.
