I must point out that other workstation components and how the keyboard is used also has a major affect on injury risk, and that changing the keyboard alone is not likely to prevent or cure anything by itself. Key workstation ergonomics and good practices require proper placement of the keyboard, screen and other supporting materials and educated typing methods to reduce strain and overall exposure to poor postures leading to discomfort and injury. Speech recognition systems are constantly improving in accuracy and ease of use and already are an option for many to replace much keyboarding activity.
