What are some of the best pug names youve heard?
My mother, when old, old,old, had a gorgeous black pug dog, who work a bright red collar and had a bright red lead (a bit like Little Black Sambo’s Purple Shoes with Crimson Soles and Crimson Linings). Anyway, she call her pug dog Zebo. Strange one thinks. Indeed, but casting my mind back, this was the brand name of the blackening used to blacken fire grates in the ‘olden day’. My mother’s father (my grandfather) owned the company that made Zebo. On a voyage to America (in those days, passenger aeroplanes did not fly across the Atlantic), grandfather swapped the Zebo company for an orange grove in California! (And a little diversion: apparently in those days, grapefruit were regarded as weeds!
