ACAS II must be carried and operated in the European Region by all civil, fixed-wing turbine-engined aircraft having a maximum take-off mass exceeding 5700 kg or a maximum approved passenger seating configuration of more than 19. For TCAS II MEL (Minimum Equipment List) provisions see the following question. Note: only TCAS II version 7.0 is compliant with ICAO ACAS II SARPS. Other State may apply different requirements. Please refer to the individual States authorities for more information.
