What are the advantages and disadvantages of downloading music?
A lot of the answers to this question have touched on matters like where you download things from and that if that is an unofficial site the fact that you are probably conspiring to breach copyright, but that isn’t the question (if you really wanted to break the law you could always shoplift CDs … ). Assuming you choose to download from a site that is official and that you are therefore not breaking the law: Advantages: You can download at any time and you get the music (almost) straight away. You may only have to pay for the songs you want – you don’t have to buy a whole CD just to get one track , you may be able to purchase just one track making the experience cheaper.
