What are the benefits of Microsoft enabling Dynamic Content Caching in the Windows Azure CDN?
Until now, the Windows Azure CDN could only cache content stored in Windows Azure blob storage. With this new functionality, the Windows Azure CDN can also be configured to cache content returned from a Windows Azure application. For example, the CDN could be used to cache an RSS feed that’s generated from a Windows Azure web role, reducing load on the web role and delivering responses faster to users located around the globe.
