What are the best biographies, written for kids, of people who lived before 400 AD?

My daughter is homeschooled and I love biographies and use them when ever possible. But, in the time period and age group you desire biographies are hard to find. Basically, almost all of ancient history and antiquities are being ignored in schools these days, so publishers are not bringing out updated titles of this time period. One of the best sources to meet the need you have are library discard shelves or bins. There is a series called Real People, published by Row, Peterson and Company. These books have copyright dates of the late 1040’s and early 1950’s. I have two of these, one on Alexander the Great and the other about Caesar Agustus. I also checked one out from my local library about Akhenaten. There is a series called Historic Biographies, which has a few books from this period: Alexander the Great, Aristotle, Cleopatra, Hatshepsut, Julius Caesar, Tutankhamen, and Qin Shi Haungdi.
