Bus Guidelines for Students The following are guidelines posted in all buses and should be followed consistently: 1. Observe same conduct as in the classroom. 2. Be courteous, use no profane language. 3. Do not eat or drink on the bus. 4. Keep the bus clean. 5. Cooperate with the driver. 6. Do not smoke. 7. Do not be destructive. 8. Stay in your seat. 9. Keep head, hands, and feet inside the bus. 10. Bus driver is authorized to assign seats. The following are other guidelines that should be followed by students when riding a school bus: 1. Buses are designed to hold three students per seat; therefore, students must make room for others as they board the bus. 2. Students will stay seated at all times in the proper seated position. 3. Students fighting on the bus will be suspended for a time to be determined by the principal. 4. No items may be thrown from the bus. 5.
