What are the characteristics of Cognis low temperature lubricants?
The superior low temperature characteristics of esters impart desirable qualities to synthetic lubricants in the area of low temperature fluidity. Viscosities of less than 8000cSt at -40°C allow many oils to fulfill the low temperature requirements needed to satisfy demands of equipment working in northern or arctic environments. Cognis diesters can also lower the fluidity points of petroleum, Group III, or PAO-based oils, allowing a wider operating temperature range for your products. Some of these diesters are approved by the U.S. Military as components of MIL spec synthetic products.
