What are the Conservative policies on tax breaks for married couples?

This was their basic proposal for tax breaks (I tend to bookmark things) and I believe was on their website as a policy. I believe after yesterday that it has been removed. One minute Cameron said he couldn’t promise it as he didn’t know if it was affordable, the next minute (after pressure from his advisors no doubt) he came out and said they would be doing it, but couldn’t say how it was going to be afforded. Who knows what tricky Dave is up to, maybe he has a plan to increase the tax for families whose parents aren’t married, thus fulfilling his pledge and making married couples better off than unmarried couples. The sooner people realise he is all spin and no substance the better. Sorry, forgot to include the link, so here it is.
