What are the costs for using and accessing the SpeakWrite service?
Use of the SpeakWrite service is completely pay-as-you-go. There are no fixed costs of any kind for using the service or having it available to you 24 hours a day. You are only charged for work transcribed for you, and then at a per word cost for words transcribed. No monthly charges, no minimums, no other charges of any kind. For words transcribed, the cost is: Type of Work Rate Legal 1.50 cents per word General 1.25 cents per word Group Conversations 2 cents per word ‘Legal’ – Work requiring the use of a trained and experienced legal trascriptionist. ‘General’ – Work not requiring the use of a trained and experienced legal transcriptionist. ‘Group Conversations’ – Transcription of recorded conversations, interviews, seminars, conference calls or anything which involves more than one person speaking.
