What are the Court Appearance Instructions?
You have a right to appear, a right to plead not guilty and a right to a trial. If your plea to the violation is “not guilty,” or if there is no fine amount shown on the front of the ticket, you must appear before a Municipal Judge at the time and location indicated. If you plead guilty in court or have a trial, court costs will be assessed. Any person wishing to plead “not guilty” for a parking violation must call the traffic violations bureau at 573-5200 for a court date.
