We accept girls between the ages of 12-17. However, our Review Board may consider a child slightly younger or older. Our girls have typically experienced negative emotional, physical, sexual, social, academic, or family dysfunction situations.

Graduation from an accredited BSN or ADN program (within 12 months prior to applying); Copy of resume; College transcript; willingness to commit to the one-year necessary to complete the Residency Program, plus an additional year of employment at Mercy Medical Center. All residents will be asked to sign a commitment statement upon acceptance into the program.

In order to be considered for admission to the PharmD program, applicants must submit a completed PharmCAS application and have the following: PharmD prerequisite courses, and a minimum GPA of a 3.0 in their pre-pharmacy science and math courses. UB SoPPS does not have a minimum Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) requirement however, competitive applicants typically present a percentage of at least 300. In addition, the Admissions Committee looks at scholastic preparation, pharmacy experiences, academic recognition or honors, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, oral and written communication, and any additional information provided by the applicant on the application or on the Supplemental Admission Application. Admission is based on three criteria. You must have a GPA of at least 2.0 and have taken and successfully passed either BIO 107 or CHE 120 with a C or better. Admission is also based on your date of application. You do not need to take both BIO 107 and CHE 120. If you are also considering a major in Nursing, it is suggested you take CHE 120 instead of BIO 107. If you are sure of your decision to enter Surgical Technology, then it is strongly recommended that you take BIO 107 as this is a good introduction class for future Surgical Anatomy and Physiology courses.
