What are the different types of lace used to create the wig?
There are typically three types of lace used to create the base of the lace wig cap — Super Fine Swiss Lace, Swiss Lace and French Lace. Super Fine Swiss Lace is the thinnest in quality and the most delicate base available. It is perfect for use in the front hairline since it is invisible and does not show. Swiss Lace is slightly thicker than Super Fine Swiss Lace and nearly just as invisible. It is one of our personal favorites to use when making our wigs. French Lace is thicker than Swiss Lace and is relatively undetectable. It is the most durable and popular lace used because of its strength.
