What are the different types of modules?
The five different types of modules in the New Degree Structure are listed below. However, for the purposes of communication with students, a simplified version of the list is used, with only two types of electives: Approved Programme (consisting of Programme Electives and Approved Electives ) and Free-standing. Compulsory Core Every student taking this principal subject is required to take this module. The credits accumulated count towards the 120 needed for the student to graduate with a named award in this principal subject (or towards the minimum of 255 credits needed for a Single Honours subject).
