What are the different types of users of VA LMS?
Definitions of user roles and scope: Standard user (approx. 50% of user base): VA Employee or Staff with full access to the LMS (mostly derived from the PAID system); External user: Federal, non-Federal, Business Partners offsite staff who access the LMS through the Internet to access specific items in the LMS (includes VCampus, LCMS, VBA loan officers); Internal user: Residents, contractors, VSOs who access the LMS onsite through the VA Network, but only require access to limited course offerings (not included in IDP, 360 review, or workforce development counts); Record-only user: No login access to the LMS, a basic user profile only to record training completions (community access, some volunteers).
