What are the Disadvantages any ISV faces while having inhouse Software Testing Team?

Hi some disadvantages are as follows: 1) Lack of sufficient usability study results – the likelihood of the team being of a technical nature is usually high. This disregard the perspective of a non-technical audience. 2) The controlled enviroment in the testing labs are quite daunting. The testing just becomes a routine where the test candidate needs to go through and get done with the job. This as opposed to a enthusiastic software tester reviewing the software in his/her own time. 3) Being in the premises of the ISV, the test user may be influenced to provide favourable information regarding the software. 4) In-house testing may be good enough for the Alpha level of the test but Beta testing must be done by users not attached directly with the company to provide valuable feedback.
