ACC violations are issued to ensure compliance with the ACC Guidelines. Homeowners agree to the Guidelines when they buy into a property governed by homeowners association. The five most common violations at LVCA are: 1) storing trash cans in the front of the home; 2) not maintaining the home (paint chipping, window caulking, roofing, siding, etc); 3) having the wrong (non-ACC approved) colors on the trim, doors, etc.; 4) not maintaining the appearance of the rear yard or fence; and 5) storing toys and other items in the front yard or steps.
