Our holidays follow the seasonal changes. We celebrate 8 yearly holidays or ‘sabbats’. They are Samhain (pronounced Sa-veen or Sow-in) on October 31, Yule or Winter Solstice on December 21 (the solstice and equinox holidays can vary by a day or so every year), Imbolg on February 2, Ostara or Spring/Vernal Equinox on March 21, Beltane on May 1, Litha/Midsummer or Summer Solstice on June 21, Lughnasdah (pronounced loo-na-sah) on August 1, and Mabon or Autumn Equninox on September 21. For an explanation of our holidays please referance The Witches Holy Days.
