A – When choosing a thermostatic mixing valve there are two types of system pressure that should be taken into account. Static pressure (when the system is under a no flow condition) and dynamic pressure (when the system is in a flow condition). The Heatguard TMV3-8 and ProMix 22-2 range of valves maximum static pressure is 10 bar while the dynamic pressures can be between 0.1 and 6 bar. The Heatguard TMV2 range of valves maximum static pressure is 10 bar while the dynamic pressures can be between 0.2 and 6 bar.
