The minimum space requirements for CommBridge and ENTRUST executables and libraries are: • NT 3 MB • AIX 18 MB • HP-UX 11 MB • SOL 11 MB These numbers don’t reflect the data files because of the variables involved with the size of the records and average file size. A Service such as ‘PAYINFO’ needs to factor in additional space for the largest possible file ( 1 gig + ) whereas another Service may only be transferring a few small records at most. Hardware and Software Requirements. There is an IBM site that contains this information by platform. From this site one would choose the ‘quick beginnings’ for the desired platform. The pertinent information is found in the chapter on installing MQSeries for that platform. Contained within that chapter are the Hardware and Software requirements.
