What are the most important Zoroastrian values?
Every religion puts more importance on some aspects than others. It is important to know the values stressed in Zoroastrianism because these values influence the daily life of the Zoroastrians. Truth: Zoroastrianism stresses truth more than anything else. The very first prayer a Zoroastrian child learns is devoted to truth. A free translation of that prayer–called Ashem Vohu – is: “Truth is the greatest virtue. It is happiness. Happy is who is truthful for the sake of truth”.
