What are the practicum courses?
In the middle semesters of the program, students complete teaching practicum experiences that complement their theoretical courses. Each practicum provides the opportunity for students to explore an area of focus at the middle school and high school level. During Practicum, student transition from being observers to becoming practice teachers by teaching lessons and being observed by the cooperating teacher and St. Petersburg College supervisor. During consecutive semesters, you will be in a middle school and high school Technology Education classroom for 60 SBE hours each.
