What are the Quality arrangements around internally marked assessments?
Centres mark the assessments using the NOCN Mark schemes and IV should take place by second marking a sample of the assessments. 10% of all Speaking, Listening and Communication assessments, E1 Mathematics and E1 and E2 Reading assessments should be observed by an IV as there is so little physical learner evidence. At Level 1 and 2, the Speaking, Listening and Communication record sheets and IV observation sheets must be sent to NOCN with the Reading and Writing assessments for checking.
