What are the requirements for adoptive couples applying to the China program?
You must be married to apply to the China program. Both individuals must be between the ages of 30-50. Prior divorce is acceptable. Couples must have been married a minimum of 2 years. If one or both spouses were previously married, couple must have been married a minimum of 5 years. If you have more than two children currently in the home, prescreening and approval from Spence-Chapin and the CCAA will be required before continuing in the process. Both parents must have a high school dipolma and a BMI (Body Mass Index of 40 or less).
