Repairs and alterations to nonnuclear boilers and pressure vessels shall be made in accordance with the rules of the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) as adopted in WAC 296-104-102. Additionally, repairs and alterations to nonstandard boilers and pressure vessels, as addressed in WAC 296-104-215, must be authorized by the chief inspector.
