What are the results of accelerated learning?
In the 95-96 school year it was implemented in a first grade bilingual class in an inner city, low-performing school in Dallas. By the end of first grade 75% of students were tested above the 50th percentile nationally and 25% were above the 90th percentile in both reading and math. Thirteen out of 20 continuously enrolled students were double promoted to third grade.
