What are the risks involved with smoking marijuana?
Any smoke in your lungs can cause cancer. I will say this; smoking one joint is like smoking a pack of cigarettes but because the average person probably smokes a joint at most per day; Marijuana is safer to smoke when you consider it consumption as compared to cancer risk. However, if you use a vaporizer you bring your risk very low or even a bong lowers your risk of cancer so you now only have joints which are actually comparable to cigarettes with and without filters. Tobacco also has very harmful substances like chemicals and additives. Tobacco’s second hand smoke is way more dangerous compared to marijuana. Tobacco also seems to do more damage to other organs in the body beside the lungs, like skin and stomach and liver. Generally, some people forget they have a meeting or a test or a job to go to and they use before they go to do these things and sometimes they don’t show up when they are high. Tobacco is way more addictive than marijuana.
