What are the risks of Malaria and other health issues ?.
The regions north of the country pose a small risk of malaria but increases during the wet season. The north east areas of Namibia namely the Caprivi Strip pose a serious risk and percussions should be taken. Please ensure that insect and mosquito repellent is used. Travelers should seek advice of a specialist health centre or visit their doctor prior to taking the trip to Namibia so that they can give you an update advice on prophylactics but please be aware that this still does not give you 100% protection.
