What are the rules for video taping board meetings?
A. State statute only authorizes the use of tape recorders and video tape recorders. However, any owner wishing to use alternate recording devices may do so, provided they have permission from the Board. Requests for alternate recording devices must be received by the Board no less then (10) days in advance. Use of alternate recording devices will be subject to the same restrictions as tape and video recorders. Restrictions: a) Equipment must not produce distracting sound or light emissions. b) Equipment shall be assembled and placed in position in advance of the commencement of the meeting. c) Anyone recording a meeting shall not be permitted to move about the meeting in order to facilitate the recording. d) Advance written notice of forty-eight ( 48) hours shall be given to the Board or Resort Management, by any unit owner desiring to utilize recording equipment.
