A. The intermediate care nursing unit is staffed by certified nursing assistants and licensed practical nurses. Each floor is supervised by a patient care manager (PCM) who is a registered nurse responsible for the care and services provided on the respective unit. Our skilled units are staffed with registered nurses to care for those with more challenging medical needs. Charge nurses are available on evening, night and weekend shifts and a registered nurse serves as house supervisor to address changes in a resident’s condition or emergency situations.
