In order to get approval to adapt a material, you must follow certain procedures as outlined in the CTCP Administrative and Policy Manual, #17, “Process to Request Use and/or Adaptation of Educational or Media Materials Produced with CDPH/CTCP Funds.” There is also an explanation in the downloadable TECC material development guide Getting Approval to Adapt Material.
