What are the strengths and weaknesses of Slippery Rock College in PA?
First, I didn’t attend Slippery Rock. But, my two best friends went there for graduate school. I visited often the first year, and the second year moved in with them as their nanny for a while. So, I feel like I know the area well enough to answer this question. First of all, the college is great. There are some well-known faculty in their fields. You will get a high quality education. Also, they offer graduate degrees in most programs (especially psychology, which is ranked nationally). Classes are small,so you will get one one one time with instructors. Trust me when I say that this is better than a freshman class of 1500 (Intro to Comm at University of Texas for me). Athletics: If you’re looking to celebrate a national championship; this isn’t the school for you. But, there are sporting events to attend and you will be able to show your school spirit.
